Published by Continuum Books "Mathematics Education with Digital Technology" edited by Adrian Oldknow & Carol Knights, Russell has written Chapter 12 "Home & School - Bridging the Gap" The title draws on the expertise of a wide range of contributors from across the globe. It is thought provoking and challenging and covers a diverse range of ICT. It is hoped that this publication can move the agenda forward and bring ICT to all our students. I cannot recommend
this product highly enough. The quality of the equipment is
superb and easy to use. Russell was inspiring and charismatic
when he worked with the students from Long Field. They said it
was their 'best ever 2 days at school'. The school radio station
has had a huge impact already and has limitless potential to
enhance the learning experience for our students and those in
our local primary schools. The Anderton Tiger Desktop is a
'must' for all innovative, creative and forward thinking
schools!

We have
recently purchased this School radio and are already starting to
see the benefits. The training day with Russell for pupils and
teachers inspired them and we have not stopped broadcasting
since!
The radio helps our AGAT students to shine in producing shows
but we will next work with our pupils who have lower literacy
skills to encourage them to develop these skills.
We would strongly recommend this teaching and learning solution.

We
purchased this amazing piece of equipment only a few weeks ago,
and I have seen what a massive impact it can have on the
children in my school.
They are confident, organised and on task for the whole time we
use the radio, and they love broadcasting live to the whole
school community.
Russell came in to give us a whole day's inset as part of the
purchasing cost and he was a very good teacher.
The children and I learnt so much about the equipment and radio
techniques, and I felt very confident afterwards that I could
teach this to the rest of the school.
I have initially trialled the equipment with my year 6 classes,
and now intend to have a regular lunchtime club with children
vertically grouped across the whole school.
Many children returned an electronic audition to me, and I am
pleased to say that this group will begin work next week.
They will broadcast live across the school for 30 minutes every
lunchtime, and they will be in charge of what goes on the show
and putting it together.
I know that this radio system will be an excellent purchase for
the school for years to come and I cannot recommend it highly
enough.
If your school can afford it, buy it, sit back, let the kids go
with it and watch them flourish!

Having
met Russell at BETT we decided to purchase the Broadcaster
Desktop.
We have all be blown away by it's potential! A core group of
children currently form the radio team with all classes
contributing an article each week for our Friday show.
From the start Russell has been fantastic, his enthusiasm,
passion and understanding of learning is unshakeable.
The training day was fantastic and by the time he had left
teachers and learners had got a firm grasp of how to use the
broadcaster.
The equipment itself is great - really easy to use and allows
the children to quickly get a really professional sounding show
out.
Russell's after care has also been terrific - we encountered a
problem last week (of our own making!) and one phone call to
Russell immediately got us back on track.
I couldn't recommend highly enough -and I'm very fussy! ;)
