SPEED LEARNING
from SSAT

Tuesday 30th April saw the first ever "Speed-Learning" event take place.  The venue was Cholsey Primary School, Oxfordshire and over 100 educators attended.  Russell opened the series with a short keynote and then went on to host a table.  The events aim to provide an intensive but fun CPD opportunity after school.  Russell's table presentations were based on how to start a school radio station from scratch for FREE.  Details of the series of events and access to the booking form may be found here.  Russell's content can be found here.

Jaguar Cars Maths Challenge Radio is back.  We are delighted to report that we've been appointed Media Partners again for this prestigious series of events.  This brilliant challenge is having a profound and real impact on the maths abilities of pupils across the UK, read more about this fantastic competition HERE  The final it on Wednesday 26th June, our coverage starts from 11.00am from Jaguar HQ in Warwickshire.

Maths Educaiton with Digital Tech

Published by Continuum Books "Mathematics Education with Digital Technology" edited by Adrian Oldknow & Carol Knights, Russell has written Chapter 12 "Home & School - Bridging the Gap"  The title draws on the expertise of a wide range of contributors from across the globe.  It is thought provoking and challenging and covers a diverse range of ICT.  It is hoped that this publication can move the agenda forward and bring ICT to all our students.  ISBN 978-1-4411-8472-6 published by www.Continuumbooks.com   Other contributors include Don Passey, Andy Kemp, Vanessa Pittard and David Wright, the book is highly recommended but it isn't for the faint hearted.
